Engage and Be Present

Brothers,

As we continue to face our adversities each day as Catholic Men, we can rely on the visions of our Founder:
  • To aid one another in times of sickness or death (through our insurance plan) so that our wives and children will not face poverty
  • To strengthen ourselves and each other in the Faith
  • To strengthen our families and family life
  • To be a strong pillar of support for our Priests and Bishops.
  • To be a service of Church and community by coming to the aid of those most in need in society

I ask you my fellow Brothers, to recall back to the day you took your 1st Degree. Why did you join the Knights of Columbus? I would also ask that you recall our principles - Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism.

May God Bless all of us, our families and our friends. Please remember to pray the Rosary and believe in the Visions of our Founder, Father Michael J. McGivney.

Welcome to The Knight Crier

Welcome to The Knight Crier, the official blog of the Father Joseph J. Comyns Council of the Knights of Columbus. Committed to our principles of charity, unity & fraternity, we're pleased to serve our parish, Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Ellicott City, Maryland, and our community.

For my brother Knights, I'll use this blog to help keep you up-to-date on all the latest news & information from our Council. For our fellow parishoners and all other visitors, I hope you'll subscribe to this blog and most importantly join us in one of the many charity and community service events we sponsor.
